Calcium can be a bit tricky to supplement. If taken on its own without cofactor nutrients, it’s not absorbed well and may deposit in soft tissues or not at all. That’s why FORTABELLE Protein Powder includes vitamins D3 and K2, as well as magnesium. These cofactor micronutrients ensure that calcium is absorbed correctly and is routed to your bones.

We would recommend continuing your usual vitamin D supplement. The dosage included in our formulation is there to support calcium absorption. Most of it will be used up by your body for this purpose. So you still need to continue your usual vitamin D supplement because this vitamin is crucial for health and well-being.

Our protein powder is flavoured with real cocoa for a subtle chocolate flavour. But our priority is to deliver the maximum level of clean protein while keeping carbs and fat to a minimum. So please don’t expect the richness of a chocolate milkshake! You can of course add more cocoa or sugar/sweetener if your macros allow.

If combined with strength training, protein will help you grow more muscle. Some women worry about becoming too “bulky” but that’s definitely a misconception! Lifting weights and eating lots of protein will help you look lean, fit and healthy. The “bulky bodybuilder” look is a whole different game which requires massive effort and is not something you can just stumble into unintentionally.
